  • CROSS CULTURAL MOVIE NIGHT, February 24th at 7pm

Crosswinds is again hosting the popular Friday movie night where we have the opportunity to learn about the many cultures that make up our Holland community. This time we will be using the Intersection building at Grace Church on the corner of 136th and Riley Streets in Holland, MI.

"SKIN” is one of the most moving stories to emerge from apartheid South Africa: Sandra Laing is a black child born in the 1950s to white Afrikaners, unaware of their black ancestry. Her parents are rural shopkeepers serving the local black community, who lovingly bring her up as their ‘white’ little girl. But at the age of ten, Sandra is driven out of white society. The film follows Sandra’s thirty-year journey from rejection to acceptance, betrayal to reconciliation, as she struggles to define her place in a changing world - and triumphs against all odds."

Enjoy the movie and join us for interesting discussions as we learn about the different backgrounds that make up the colorful Crosswinds community.

Talk with Bev Stephenson on Sunday, call 616-399-4333 or us at Crosswindscc@gmail.com.

Current Regular Activities

  •  YOUTH Group & Special Events, 4th Sunday each month

Youth Group challenges youth 6th through 12th grade to grow in their knowledge of God’s love, his Word, and the difference it makes in their daily lives. We have periodic times to get together to learn, fellowship, and serve others. A monthly meeting time happens on the 4th Sunday of each month from 5:00-7:00pm at the Meyer’s house (unless prior notice is given). This is a time for FOOD, study, discussion and fun. Other special events are planned for the coming weeks. Contact Miss Vicki (Meyer) if you have any questions.

  • Coffee Break, throughout the school year for women (Spanish & English)

Everyone wants a fruitful life. Come join us, old friends and new, as we explore living a vibrant life, filled with purpose and meaning. Coffee Break runs from September to May on Wednesdays, in the morning (9:30am -11:00am).

Coffee Break provides a safe place for women to grow friendships, pray for one another and explore God's Word together in English or Spanish (Wednesday A.M. only).

The new season will begin with a 9 week Bible study on the Fruit of the Spirit. Pre-school children of morning attendees can enjoy Children's Story hour during the Bible study time.

  • LIFE Groups

God made us to work best as a body.  We need one another.  L.I.F.E. Groups will provide safe communities where anyone can belong, be accepted and cared for, where “…we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is head of his body, the church.  He makes the whole body fit together perfectly.  As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.” (Ephesians 4:15, 16 NLT)

  • Men's Bible Study , throughout the year (English)

Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m. our Men’s Bible Study will once again meet at the Macatawa Resource Center (northwest corner) at 665 136th Street on Holland’s north side for about an hour or so.

As we deal with life and all its challenges let's plug into God's word to see how it can help us handle all the hard and good stuff life presents us with.  We are blessed to be the children of God and He will show us the way we should go through His word. Every day we are in it He uses the knowledge we have gained to change us into the image of Christ.  Without God's wisdom none of us have any wisdom at all!

Be ready to read the word, dig into the study notes, and find some answers for those hard questions as we experience some good fellowship together as men. We hope you will take the time to join us
