Sunday at Crosswinds  (click here for location map)

On Sunday mornings the Harbor Lights cafeteria is transformed into a colorful and lively place for worship.  The chatter of conversation fills the room as friends welcome each other and greet guests.  At 9:45 am the praise team strikes a chord and leads us in some upbeat worship songs.  Within the hour a combination of music, prayer and Bible teaching leaves us spiritually challenged and inspired to move on into a new week.

Some things you might like to know about worship at Crosswinds:

  •     Come expecting to meet God.  He’s there every week!
  •     There’s no dress code.  We tend to be quite casual… jeans are fine.
  •     One or two Crosswinds friends are likely to greet you when you arrive (entrance on the south side of the school).
  •     Adhesive name tags may seem corny, but they sure help us become friends more quickly.
  •     Children sit with parents for the first few minutes of worship, then most of the younger kids choose to go to a “Children In Worship” class.
  •     Infants are welcome to be with parents in the worship area, or they can be well cared for in a supervised nursery.
  •     You’re welcome to bring a coffee into worship with you.  Grab a cup from the pot in the entrance.
  •     You’ll see that some people are expressive in their worship; others prefer to quietly sit back and take in the experience.  Be true to who you are.
  •     Our worship is mostly in English, but if you’re more comfortable conversing in Spanish, you’ll find that some of our members will be pleased to oblige.
  •     Punch, hot drinks and snacks are served at the coffee bar after worship.  Plan to stay for a few minutes.  It’s a good time to connect with some great people!  (Once in a while we’ve even been known to throw a pot luck.)
  •     Middle and high school students meet for a few minutes after the service to have their own snacks and talk out their thoughts about the morning message.
  •     Weather cancellations are published on WOOD TV and WOOD TV’s web site.
  •     Come experience a Sunday morning blessing with us!
